[Make yourself a cup of chamomile or other soothing tea. Sit in front of your altar, your bed, or in another restful place.]

[annointing your eyelids with the calming oil of your choice]

Bless my eyes for being ready to close

Bless my heartbeat for slowing

Bless my breath for deepening

Bless my body for turning movement and sunlight

Into stillness and sleep

[Drink your tea slowly while consciously relaxing all the muscles you can, starting at your head and working down. Lie down for at least a few minutes, soaking in the relaxation.]
